This week's letter is going to be a short one because we had a really slow week. Hermana Martinez got chikungunya... for the second time. Apparently it's not always just a onetime deal, so hopefully I don't get it again either (I'm still feeling the effects of the first time). But 5 days and lots of hours of sleep later and she's feeling a lot better, and we're ready to get back to work.
As you already know, General Conference was this last weekend and we had 8 investigators there. Gaby and Yoelis could be baptized in the next few weeks, Victoria isn't far behind, and the Santana children are still excited about their fecha in November (we just have to work a little more to motivate their less active father). But all is well! I even got to watch conference in English! The branch president surprised us by putting a TV in a separate room for us. We did, however, watch the Spanish talks with everyone else (I always like to hear their real voices).
